Summer Camps at the Inner World School

These summer camps will be packed with fun.  It is your chance to try ballet, jazz and tap**.  All three dance forms will be explored using video, dancing and experimentation.  The classes will have our usual creative style, encouraging freeform self-interpretation.  Our days will be balanced with some time outside and a craft.

At the Inner World School our dance classes have been developed out of a love of dance and a belief in the innate ability of children.  We teach children to use the medium of dance to express their feelings, ideas and creativity.  Their ideas and creative direction become an integral part of the class.  Come and join the fun in our summer classes.  No experience necessary!  This is your chance to try things out.

Jr Creative Dance Summer Camp for ages 5 - 9

Dates: July 16 – 19, 2012

Time: 10am – 3pm

Place: Coldstream Women’s Institute

Cost: $120 ($100 each for siblings)

Sr Creative Dance Summer Camp for ages 10 – 14

Dates: July 23 – 26

Time: 10am – 3pm

Place: Coldstream Women’s Institute

Cost: $120 ($100 each for siblings)

Bring dance wear, a water bottle, your lunch and clothes for wearing outside (hat, sunscreen, etc.)

** tap will be available based on interest and on everyone having tap shoes.  We do have extra tap shoes you can borrow or purchase; please contact us to see if they are your size.
