At our last meeting we discussed changing our location as the Bean to Cup furniture re-arrangement has made it difficult for our group to meet there. I've just contacted the Blenz that used to be Portillos and they are willing to book their meeting room for us on the last Thursday of every month if we would like it. I went ahead and booked it but will cancel it if the rest of you are not in agreement . I thought we could try it out this week and then decide. I'd like to know what you think ... is this too short notice....should we stay at Bean to Cup this month... would you like to try somewhere else? We could try it this week and phone anyone we can think of who might show up at Bean to Cup - we could even leave a message at Bean to Cup to alert people to the new location. I think it is too late for the paper this week. What do you think?

Yes, that sounds fine to me too. I did go to Talking Donkey to see their room (tucked up above the cafe) and it has 2 couches and a long table -- looks like it could be cozy, but looks a bit crowded with all the furniture up there, too. Not sure. Anyway, it wasn't available for this month, but I did book it for October and November. If Blenz works for us, I'll just cancel TD. I think we should try Blenz this month. The chairs there don't look very comfortable, but there'd be lots of room. Talking Donkey closes at 10 is the only thing...
Works for me, even though I havn't been able to attend the meetings for quite some time. I hope to come in a couple of months, planning to book a night off from work. I keep an eye here for details :0)
