Hi Guys, Heather posted this on the Kelowna blog and I wanted to invite the Vernonites also. We will be there from about 11am-2pm and hope to see some of you!
"If the weather co-operates then a bunch of us are planning on going to Jack Seaton park (in Winfield) on Tuesday after our birdwatching science day. The younger group is done their bird-watching around 11ish and the older group will head to the park around noon when they are done their bird watching.
There are tennis courts, a baseball diamond, a playground, washrooms and a great spot for a hike. We'll be bringing our picnic lunch, tennis rackets and, if we can find it, some baseball gear.
