bison
If anyone is interested in free-range bison for their freezer my bison guy still has some un-spoken for bison. For a side it comes out to $3 per lb, cut any way you like and you get about 275 lbs. Last year I split a side amongst 4 of us - so we each got 1/8 a bison. This was a great way to try it. You can also buy smaller amounts but the price goes up. we've used solely bison meat for 5 years now and i'm willing to share cooking tips with anyone who's interested. bison meat is so healthy and so flavourful!
