I'm feeling a bit disappointed that I haven't taken my kids skating much this winter. And we missed out today, too, as I forgot until too late... Did any of you go?
It looks like the last homeschooling time at the outdoor rink is on Monday, 10:30 until 11:30. Would anyone like to meet us there? I'm determined to make it, unless it's pouring rain or the ice has all melted (ha!) It's always more fun when people we know are there too... Anyone?

There was skating today...? I missed that somehow. Just like I missed all the rest of the dates this year! I'd really like to get there at least once this winter. We'll try to be there.
Rhiannon and I have had conflicts with all the other dates and we have a conflict with Monday, too as we will be skiing.... DARN! Is anyone interested in meeting for one of the public skates before it is all over (at the outside rink)?
Yes! We would like to do that too, Andrea. Maybe have a "good-bye to winter" skating party?
So, we went and were the only ones there -- just as well, as they'd closed the outdoor rink. The hour before us was a school group and the manager said they'd "wrecked" the rink with shovels. They aren't sure if it'll be open the next 2 days or not (the rink closes for the season the last day of Feb.) Anyway, we asked if we could skate indoors and he obliged. It felt pretty big with just us 3 on the ice! Missed you all...
